Aruku is a new documentary about the pilgrimage Japanese Buddhists make where they travel to Shikoku Island and visit 88 temples along their journey. The film had its North American premiere at the Toronto Japanese Film Festival and Jeff Bulmer had the opportunity to chat with the films director Shiho Kataoka.
